Mosaic by Penrose Education, the online teacher training and education platform, is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Diverse Educators, the UK-based training and advocacy company committed to forwarding the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging agenda within the school system. Our joint commitment is to amplify conversations around diverse representation in recruiting and retaining Initial Teacher Trainees and Early Career Teachers and to support and empower them to raise their conscious, confidence and competence in embedding DEI within their teaching practice.
Diverse Educators
Diverse Educators is a UK-based training and advocacy company that evolved from a grassroots network committed to forwarding the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging agenda within the school system. The Diverse Educators’ vision is to ensure everyone is celebrated in every classroom and school, and its mission is to support schools in fostering a collaborative community that celebrates and amplifies the successes and stories of diverse people.
Diverse Educators works with state, independent, and international schools to support them with their DEI strategy and DEI training needs, working to promote acceptance, increase visibility, encourage celebration, create belonging and enable learning. Furthermore, Diverse Educators collaborates with national organisations responsible for Initial Teacher Training and Education (ITTE) to help amplify conversations around diverse representation in recruiting and retaining diverse Early Career Teachers. Additionally, Diverse Educators works with training providers to support their trainee teachers and instructors/ mentors in enhancing their awareness, skills and confidence in embedding DEI in their teaching practice.

- An opportunity for trainee teachers to come together for a day of raising consciousness, competence and confidence when it comes to DEI and their teaching practice.
- A brilliant line up of people to share their expertise and experience with practical tips on how to create an inclusive classroom and an inclusive curriculum.
- The sessions will be reflective, discursive and practical.
- For the 2024-25 academic year the event will be split across the two dates. The cohort ticket price enables trainees to attend both parts of the event live or to catch-up via the recordings.
