North Lincolnshire SCITT Partnership reflects on working with Mosaic since 2021 and how the platform supports strategic programme oversight.

“North Lincolnshire SCITT Partnership is part of North Lincolnshire Council and is a small SCITT based near Scunthorpe. We offer Primary and Secondary training and from next year we will be offering Primary with SEND and the PGTA. Currently we have a cohort of 16.
We train local people in local schools.”
Working with Mosaic
“We have worked with Mosaic since 2021, when as a new company they presented at a NASBTT meeting. We recognised a company that understood ITT and offered us an opportunity to be strategic and bring all of the programme together.

Strategic Programme Oversight
“Mosaic has enabled us to set out the weekly programme, be strategic in the oversight of completed activities and reflections and provide both qualitative and quantitative data regarding the progress of trainees.
The best thing is everything is in one place and there is triangulation of evidence. The mentor meetings link to the weekly training programme, which links to targets set, which appear in a separate tab and link to the mentor meeting they have come from.”
Target Setting & Personalisation
“The targets section has enabled us to support setting granular actions and this has been a focus in our training with mentors.
I think the fact that we have been able to personalise Mosaic has been immensely helpful, for example, we have included Gibb’s reflective cycle in the reflective journal section.”
Support & Responsiveness
“There have been times when I have become confused, such as when linking the NASBTT MDMs (Mentor Development Modules) to the Mentor training programme, but someone was always on hand to talk me through it (often very slowly!!) and no question was too foolish; well, it probably was but Rob and the team didn’t make me feel like it was!!”
