A new chapter for one of our long‑standing partners
One of our valued partners has recently changed their name from Diverse Educators to The Belonging Effect, marking a new chapter in their work across education, workplaces and communities.
In their announcement, they reflect on their journey since launching Diverse Educators, where their mission focused on amplifying voices, celebrating difference and building a more inclusive education system. Over time, their understanding of impact has deepened, recognising that diversity alone is only the starting point.
As they explain:
“It is not enough to bring different people into the room – we have to make sure everyone feels that they truly belong once they are there.
Belonging is the bridge between diversity, equity and inclusion – it is the emotional outcome of equity in action.”
Why the new name?
The new name draws inspiration from the Butterfly Effect and the Ripple Effect, highlighting how small, intentional acts of inclusion and belonging can create far-reaching change across organisations and communities.
While their name has evolved, their commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and representation remains at the heart of everything they do.
