"Mosaic is a great platform. It is very user friendly. Everything is in one place. We can track and monitor what's happening in school. We can create our own templates.
The team at Mosaic are responsive and accessible and act swiftly to change and adapt based on feedback. All stakeholders love it and it is always evolving to make things easier."

What should teachers be thinking about in an AI-powered world?
That’s one of the questions explored in AI in teacher professional development: The unnecessary and absolutely necessary cognitive load of developing as a teacher, published in the 2025 special issue of Impact Journal on AI in education by the Chartered College of Teaching (2025).
In the article, Robert Caudwell and Paul Mallaband, (two of our co-founders) share a framework for how to think about the role of AI in supporting teacher learning and development — rather than focusing on what thinking is and isn’t possible to outsource, we should be centring the discussion on what thinking is and isn’t desirable to outsource to the increasingly powerful AI tooling available to us.
These ideas are informing an early AI prototype to support pre-service teachers with target and goal setting within the Mosaic platform – as part of our ongoing exploration into how AI can meaningfully support teacher development.
What would meaningful AI integration look like in your context? And what should it consider?
We’d love to get your feedback on the prototype – do come to our stand if you’d like to see it.
Whether it’s reducing admin burden or supporting critically reflective practice for pre-service teachers, insight from teacher educators and programme leaders will help shape what we do next.
"I've seen Mosaic revolutionise our approach to the formation of our trainee teachers. Mosaic bridges theory and practice, enabling us to track trainee growth against AITSL standards with clarity.
Our mentors now engage in more focused, evidence-based conversations, while our trainees demonstrate greater ownership of their formation.
Beyond tracking, Mosaic has created a common language across our school partnerships. After four years of implementation, I can confidently say that Mosaic has become indispensable to our mission of growing quality teachers who are truly professionally and contextually ready.”
